070310

it's sunday today. reporting from Adelaide, weather outside seems to be a little bit chill, but not cold as it were yesterday.

i woke up early this morning. after performing my subuh prayer, sleep doesn't seem to please me at this very morning. then i decided to find something to read. luckily it appeared that one religious book entitled Muhammad, The Messenger of God amazes me this one fine morning. English version as it printed, but I managed to catch up with the pace of the way the book describes about Prophet Muhammad, all praise to him.

now, it reminds me of how great he were on his era. Even the non-Muslims admit to his influence and remarkable power. His behavior were the greatest amongst all mankind. Al-Ameen which he had been called among his companions and enemies as he was a very truthful man, he meant every words he said and never lied about it. I'm ashamed of myself if I reckon myself to his.

At least, I should have acted more matured in every way. Stop thinking bad things about other people as what he actually did to his enemy. He even prayed for the goodness of his enemies and marked no signs of avenged on his heart. It's a bad of me to getting strayed from the right path of truthfulness and i hope for a better man in me in the near future. It's not worth every seconds, wealth, or anything valuable than seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty God. This world is only temporary, what should we actually seek is the Hereafter which is permanent.

there, i'm not trying to preach everyone here. But as i mentioned, i am amazed by the behavior of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and i hope to be like him someday. Surprise every living organism with full of amazing things.

I bear witness that there is no God to be worshiped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God - kalimah shahadah

avoid harm!

on this post, I would love to share a valuable experience from what have I been going through in my life. It may be crucial for you to just take 5 minutes of your time to read what am I going to write here. For some reasons, it happens when we least expecting it.

For starters, I wanna ask you, my respectful readers, a couple of questions. Have you ever been in a situation where you think you weren't supposed to be? Particularly in a conflict between you and your friends, family, or even acquaintance? I bet you all at least have been through this harsh moments right? To make it an easy word, it a conflict!

now let we go a little deeper to this topic. I'm sure everyone hates to be in this particular moment. But, as I said earlier, it happens when we least expecting it. What's the point of getting each others nerve right? I mean, it can be avoided. But how? For some reasons, I find that, every conflicts that happens, begins with a small statement or false information and even wrong words used in speaking, which lead to an argument and so on so forth. Absurdly stating, even a small thing could create a massive storm of arguments between two people. They defend their arguments and don't want to lose.

Well, here are my point of view regarding this matter and recommendations of how to prevent unnecessary conflicts between two people. Every person in this world two different character, one DOMINANT and the other INFERIOR. Depending on situations, someone can be dominant in one particular circumstance, but may be inferior in events and vice versa. In most cases, arguments between Dominant and Inferior characters cease immediately, at least it would not drag for a long period of time. Why? It's easy because Inferior would bow to the ideas of Dominant. Compared to arguments between Dominant and Dominant it never fails to amuse people around them. Their angers are thrown to each others faces like they would never want to see each other for the next thousands years as for example. Curses and bad words flying all over the place, noting each other wrong doings, make every sentence so sharply that can cut the flesh of the other opponent. That's very rude I tell you. It's a shame if you keep going to this attitude. People around you will never look up at you, and there's no doubt about that.

Right, now you would spend a couple of minutes or so, would you mind recognize yourself, which category are you in? A DOMINANT character, or the INFERIOR one? I didn't mean to discriminate any of those quality, it's perfect as it is. But keep in mindful mind that every person has a feeling. They get touched when you purposely touch their soft spots. PLEASE remember that yeah?

Now getting on to my recommendations, let's say that you the dominant person, it's very easy to detect whether you are dominant or inferior. In every circumstances, a dominant character seems to stand out amongst the others, and unashamedly express his or her ideas although they might wrong. On the other side, inferior tends to listen to ideas and just follow the agenda of dominant, whether willingly or unwillingly is the second business for them.

In an argument of dominant and dominant, do mind it's a very serious business here. You're a dominant character and your opponent also has dominant traits, I suggest you let the opponent speak first, and listen to his arguments pleasantly. Try to get a win-win situations, it's a best option you have at the end.

As for the inferior and dominant and vice versa, dominant always wins the arguments right? Yes, if I would say. But, do note that people are not perfect and they make mistakes. Again, listen to what the other party wants to express if you are inferior. Don't cut the strong arguments in the middle. The dominant party will get angry and drag to a new whole level of arguments if you are in the wrong situation at the wrong time. PATIENT is need here. I mean a LOTS of them. Just when the right time comes, do correct dominant person mistakes in a good manners, and express your ideas or statements with correct tone volume. Don't get INTIMIDATE by the dominant. They are just showing off that they are the great I tell you. Inferiors sometimes win the fight =)

Well, that's all for today. I hope you get the idea and know how to react appropriately when you have to face a conflict. Have a good day =)

no words to describe

it's been a week here in Adelaide. Many new things I managed to catch up and I still have to learn a lot from people that revolve around me. For starters, the weather here. Thank goodness, I arrived at this new place at the end of summer. But still, it's a something new in the chapter of my life. On top of that, when the autumn commences, I figured out that I would be cool man to be able to endure the coldness of the surrounding. Unfortunately, the ambient temperature around wins the bet. Oh my good! It's chill here, and I tell you, I'm not joking mate~! The startling facts are that, the temperature can't be predicted, even the weatherman never rights about the climate. In the very morning, temperature would drop to about 13/14 C , and when noon approaches, it's scorching hot, up to 29/33 C. That's a little experience from me that I can share with you from the Autumn climate here. How about winter? Oh, that's gonna have to wait and I hope I can still able to write a piece of information to be put here, not to mention the extreme coldness that I'm gonna have to bear with.

I'm very thankful to the lots of blessings from Allah for what I have got and achieved now. Many unpleasant moments happened before the fruit of happiness and success can be experienced. It's a once in a life opportunity to be able to study abroad. I know many people want to enjoy what like what I'm enjoying now. But, please, it's not a vacation I'm doing now. It's a commitment and a responsibility for me to perform not just a fantastic academic results, but also being a person with lots of experiences and knowledge to be shared to my beloved home country, Malaysia. I really hope that I am good enough to catch up with the pace of study in the University. But, good enough is never enough as sponsored student like me should be excellent when I come back to Malaysia. On top of that, technology here is very up-to-date, particularly in the University system of education, everything is told at the system, and every university attendants have to check to their account regarding their particular lectures, tutorials, workshops and etc.

On top of the above stories, here a one of the good piece of experience that I think best. A week living here, I judge from the very bottom of my heart, and I give an utmost respect for Australians behavior on the public transport particularly bus. They are very gentlemen! I tell you, when an elderly hops into the bus, young people or middle-age person, regardless of their sex, would happily offer their seats without demanding even a thank you. It's a very kind of them! Seriously mate! You've opened my eyes for good value here.

Next, I am excited to tell you that, the speed limits here in Adelaide is just 60 km/h which is absurdly slow compared to the speed limits in Malaysia, am I right? Yes, and I would like to do a joke about that, unfortunately it is a fact. For all the transports ranging from motorcycle and lorry, the speed limits applies for them all. If any obstruction of limits occurs, a fine would be charged without excuse mate, and it's very expensive!

Well, enough for this post. I have a class to attend this morning. For you information, it's early about 2.30 hour in Adelaide compare to Malaysia. I hope we'll meet again on the next post. I tag along a few memorable pictures for you, my following readers to enjoy :)
